About Rev Jessie
Anglican priest, author, and digital storyteller bridging ancient wisdom with modern life
Hi, I'm Jessica Falconer—though most people know me as Rev Jessie. I'm an Anglican priest, author, and content creator passionate about making faith accessible, authentic, and deeply relevant to everyday life.
My journey into ministry wasn't a straight path. Like many of you, I've wrestled with doubt, navigated life's complexities, and searched for meaning in the midst of uncertainty. It's precisely these experiences that shape how I approach ministry today—with honesty, compassion, and a belief that our questions are just as sacred as our answers.
I believe the church at its best is a radical community of welcome, justice, and transformation. Through my work, I aim to create spaces— both digital and in-person—where people can explore faith without pretense, ask hard questions without judgment, and discover that spirituality can be both deeply grounded and wonderfully liberating.
When I'm not writing sermons or creating content, you might find me reading theology with a cup of tea, hiking in nature, or having deep conversations with friends about everything from liturgy to pop culture. Because to me, the sacred and the everyday aren't separate—they're beautifully intertwined.
What I Believe In
Radical Welcome
Everyone is invited to the table. No exceptions. Faith communities should be places of unconditional belonging, where all people can encounter divine love exactly as they are.
Honest Questioning
Doubt isn't the opposite of faith—it's part of it. I create space for hard questions, theological wrestling, and the messy process of discovering what we truly believe.
Justice & Compassion
Following Jesus means standing with the marginalized, speaking truth to power, and working toward a more just and compassionate world for all people.
Sacred in the Everyday
Spirituality isn't confined to Sunday mornings. The divine shows up in our daily lives—in relationships, nature, art, and the ordinary moments that take our breath away.
My Journey
Early Years
My spiritual journey began in a traditional church setting, but I quickly found myself asking questions that didn't have easy answers. This led me on a path of exploration—through different faith traditions, academic study, and real-world experiences that shaped my understanding of God and community.
Ordination & Ministry
After years of discernment, I answered the call to ordained ministry in the Anglican Church. My training in theology and pastoral care equipped me with tools, but it's been the people I've served alongside who have truly taught me what it means to be a priest.
Digital Ministry
In recent years, I've embraced digital platforms as powerful tools for ministry. Through social media, videos, and online content, I've been able to reach thousands of people who might never step into a traditional church building—and that's a gift I don't take lightly.
Today
Today, I continue to serve as an Anglican priest while writing, creating content, and speaking at churches, conferences, and retreats. I'm constantly learning, growing, and discovering new ways to share the transformative power of faith in an ever-changing world.
Let's Connect
I'd love to hear your story and connect with you. Whether you're curious about faith, looking for spiritual guidance, or interested in working together, I'm here for you.
